Principle dancers

Amber Thompson:   Principal Choreographer, Director

Amber began dancing when she was three, training in ballet, tap and Modern, finishing college with an a level in dance and then went on complete her ISTD qualifications in Tap and Modern. Amber expanded her training by gaining qualifications as a street fit instructor also gaining qualification in the art of burlesque, training worldwide including "Steps on Broadway, training with Wayne Sleep, Rudeye, Tony Stone, Tristan Coulter and Natasha hall.

Ambers experience has taken her to "her majesty's theatre London, the London palladium, saddlers wells and the Royal Albert hall.

 

Samantha O Reilly:   Hip Hop, Street and Commercial.

Samantha began training as a dancer at the age of four, she graduated Winchester University with a degree in dance and has danced in competitions in Europe and the UK.

 

Dani Peters:   Commercial, Street and Jazz

Dani has been one of Upbeat's (formerly Brooklands ) longest serving members and has danced in Europe and the UK for several years now.

She has performed at Disneyland and has taken part in various shows in London, including the London Palladium and the royal Albert hall.

Dani is a qualified street fit instructor

 

Fran Setford:   Music editor, Ragga, Locking and Street.

Fan is qualified in Street and has an A Level in Music technology.

Fran's experience has taken her to "her majesty's theatre London, The London palladium, her Majesty's Theatre and the Royal Albert hall.

 

 

 

The Horsham Street Dance Company by uPbeat, is a young, exiting, and passionate dance company Providing Street/Hip-Hop Dance Classes and street dance services in Horsham West Sussex.

The Street Dance Company specialises in providing youngsters and adults, Street & Hip-Hop Dance Classes, which are full of energy and resemble the styles of choreography seen in some popular urban RnB/Hip-Hop music videos.  The company also currently provides private tuition, workshops, (suitable for adults & children), talented street dancers for various street dance related shows and events.
